I thought it might be interesting to show this
brochure from back in the day (circa 1983). The ad dudes could come up
with ideas, but the sales dudes can't sell ideas. They needed something
that the client could touch, feel and smell. Thus the infamous Magic Marker
Comp.
In this case the client had just named a new service he would be offering.
He wanted to use their many years in the business of warehousing to fortify
the new service. A photo of his grandfather who established the business
was the only thing to work with. I went to the local library and researched
their photo archives. It made an interesting cover.
