Transform Automotive is not your
typical stamping plant. They stamp splines for automotive transmissions.
This process was impossible to do a few years back.
Let me exspline
this to you. I do the splining on this one Lucy. Ha. Sorry.
I'm a chump for that sort of stuff.
Anyway, before, a spline
required a fair amount of machine work. That made the part
expensive to manufacture. Transform
Automotive came up with the technology to mass produce them
at low cost, utilizing the stamping process. This will either
bring the cost of an automobile down or make their stock
holders rich. Your guess. This brochure exalts the spline.
They would like to sell this technology to other companies
in need.
The designer of their logo utilized Transform Automotive's
flagship transmission piece. I did a vector rendering of
the actual piece for the front cover and laid it over a bitmap
of the original blueprint for the part. The spline that frames
the photo on the inside cover is also a rendering. The photos
were taken with a Nikon D-1.
The emphasis on white, throughout
the brochure was inspired by the immaculate condition Transform
Automotive maintains throughout
their facility.
